The other day I drained the tranny fluid from both the pan and the torque converter. Replaced the filter. Bolted on a new pan (with a drain plug) with a new gasket. I actually over heated the trans by backing a trailer up a hill with a car on it. Removed the trans, inspected the snout on the converter. for scares or scratches. Looked like new.
WebJan 27, 2024 · I have a 99 f250 v10 w e4od transmission with 100K miles. Problem is filler tube leaks where it is inserted into transmission. Leaks directly on exhaust pipe.
