The older 20 series tractors had plain bushings, without the groove for the o-ring and then a separate seal outboard of the bushing.

The Boling seals are a o-ring cut into the shaft bushing, I use them on 4020's along with the the original seals the 4230 seals are entirely different, and better,, the success of them lasting depends on how much side play is in the A-frame.
